LUKAS 7:29-30
All the people who heard his words, including the tax collectors, acknowledged the truth of God, because they have given themselves baptized by John.
But the Pharisees and scribes rejected God's purpose for themselves, because they do not want to be baptized by John.
All the prophets christened the Holy Spirit, and water baptism is a symbol of baptism with the Holy Spirit, which was rejected by the Jewish Rabbis
