Missionaries can make miracles, such as raising the dead, a hundred people dead raised in Africa, raising wiglesworld Smith 23 people dead, give sight to the blind, the deaf, the lame walk, what about the rabbi? They just can speak: God , God, but they do not have the Spirit of God, and the power of God and miracles, that prove they are a liar!

KNOWN JESUS AS THE MESSIAH FORM HIS WORK
What was done by Jesus is the work that only God can do, the work itself that testify that Jesus was the Messiah, Satan can give sight to the blind eye ?, can the devil raise the dead? You should know that the devil can not do the job He has done! because the job is done it depends on how the capacity of power.

So only the Messiah in power to babtize people with the Holy Spirit, to know the Holy Spirit is full of you know of the miracles.
John himself rejected Jewish rabbi Nazarites when John was prepared from the womb like Samson while rabbis are not rabbis be prepared from the womb
